AskK12 does not ask visitors for personal information, and conversation data is not sold. Because questions are free text and are retained temporarily, visitors should not include names, student records, or other sensitive details.
You do. You write the answers to the topics that matter most, and the AI cannot override them. For everything else, the bot answers from your own website content, which you already control.
It says so honestly, and never fabricates. When the bot can't find an answer, it shows a configurable fallback message and, if the district has set up contact routes, connects the visitor directly to the right staff member for that topic.
